TGN Grid scope: FlexControl, Aggregate, BESS (Hitachi Energy 500 kW / 1,100 kWh), Solar PV (Isola Solar 700 kWp)
Revac AS is a Norwegian recycling plant for electronic waste. With an annual electricity consumption close to 4,000,000 kWh, the high efficiency solar PV system, covering roughly 10,000 m2, supplies about 25 % of the energy consumed on an annual basis.
The energy storage, a 1.1 MWh LFP lithium-ion battery with a maximum power of 0.5 MW, enables behind the meter services such as peak-shaving and demand response.
The system monitors energy flow between all subsections of the facility, making the operation of the entire recycling plant transparent to its managers.
